As the Spring/Summer 2019 fashion shows have come and gone, let’s take a glimpse of what 2019 has in store for us on the beauty front.
Each season I love to dissect Fashion Week and interpret the makeup trends to predict what we are going to be seeing in the mainstream. These runway shows flood my brain with so much inspiration and the Spring/ Summer runways were definitely serving all the lewks.
This season we saw the base makeup applied very naturally to make a stronger contrast statement with either a bold eye, bold lip etc. And of course, we all know that Spring is all about beautiful combinations of color; however, this Spring looks like it’s also delivering a sultry feel.
I pulled my top 3 favorite looks from the S/S 2019 shows and the 2019 makeup trends I believe we are going to be seeing the most.
THE INSPO:
Jeremy Scott
This metallic lip with a 90’s vibe tone of brown and frosted lips is super easy. Still with a natural “bare face” look that elevates the bold lip. This look although is so simple, it’s still very unexpected with the metallic sheen.

Tom Ford
This more lived-in, sultry look from Tom Ford is a little bit different from what we are used to seeing for Spring trends. Although it does have a hint of color, it is more of a darker, night look. It reminds me of those times when you’re wildin’ out the night prior and do not bother to remove your makeup and in the morning. A total morning after look in the chic-est way.

Rodarte
This look perfectly marries the pink and red together which looks beautiful on any skin tone. It is the perfect combination of two very bold colors but it works amazing together because of the unexpected complement. The eyeshadow and lip make a statement while the rest of the face remains natural.
